I just received my 2-up seat from Corbin last week for my 1500 and got the support bracket and passenger backrest attached. Beautiful seat by the way, Corbin does a nice job. Huge dip in the saddle, reminds of an English horse saddle. Anyway, I noticed the front where the single seat has a slot that slides onto the bolt on the frame ,the Corbin seat does not. It has a flat bar and two bumpers or feet on the front of the seat that apparently just rests on the frame or tank. Is this correct? I know it has four other attachment points, two where the single seat attaches and two aft., support bracket to frame. Just want to make sure I got it right so's I don't loose my honey off the back. Thanks!!!

The bar actually goes under the large washer. You may have to give the back of the washer a little bend upwards so that the bar on the Corbin seat goes under it. Then it will sit right for you!!

Yeah, I had to flatten the front of the large washer to allow for the corbin bar to fit under it... the first few times you put it on, it wants to be difficult, but after doing it a few times, everything slides right into place... ummm... sorry mind drifted...
Heh, heh, brought a smile to my face there Chief :). Thanks for info guys. I'm glad I brought it up 'cause at least now I know what to expect when I try to mount it (no pun intended there Chief) and do rather then gettin' pissed off at it and thinking I either got the wrong seat or I'm too stupid to figure it out, more likely the latter is true. I'll let you all know how I fair with it when the time comes. Gonna be a busy April . . . so much to do . . . so little time . . .

I understand its different with different years. It fits differently on a 99/00 and perhaps others.
I had the same problem. As it turns out, all you have to do is talk dirty to it and it slides right in.

The seat you got had a modification to the front bracket that made it work easily on your bike... I saw it when I was packaging the seat. I modified the washer not the bracket, but modifying the bracket makes more sense I suppose.

Yea, I wondered about that. It is hollowed out a bit. I still had to bend the washer.
