If you have a hernia surgery scheduled, make sure they do NOT use a mesh when they are putting you back together. My father (who was in great health, could do 90 push ups, 25 pull ups, run forever, at 84 years old) went in for a routine hernia operation where they used this mesh. Three weeks later, he was back in for complications form the mesh permeating his intestine and filling him up with toxins. Another three weeks and we are having his funeral. I am sorry for the graphics on this, but please investigate before your consent. Check the web for how many law suits involving this mesh stuff.
Thanks for the heads up, and sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.
I had that mesh 19 years ago and am still suffering a dull ache from it, I was in agony for months followed by years of pain and now I am used to it..
It's not the mesh, it's the surgeon..
John.
