I'm looking to install one of these paint program guys....not for the concern of being pirated....just want to expand my computer world horizons...LOL......what kind of things can you do with these programs?I mean for instance..... let's say.......I wanted to change the color of my exhaust on my bike to see what it would look like or something along those lines....do these programs have these capabilities or am I way off track on this?I don't want to install one of these programs to simply write my name or happy birthday on a pic.
if you are using Windows 7 try the paint program and it does not need a lot of practice.
I ersonally do not know of a program that will do what I think you want it to do. You cannot type in change colour of exhast pipes and volia it changes. Unless you have it programed to do that . But the Windows 7 paint can do a decent job to give you the idea of what you are thinking of, and you already have it on your computer....
Yeah, your best bet is to do a search for graphics software... maybe easy to use graphics software, or even simple photoshop alternative...
The problem is, to do what you want and have the results look acceptable you need a higher end package... and they aren't easy to use or cheap usually.
I use PhotoShop
Thanks guys for the info.....I'll see if You-Tube has any of these programs viewable to see which ones are computer "for dummies" friendly...LOL.....maybe I can see better what features each has,and so on.....that would best fit my needs.I do like how Troll & Ratman color in things and make circles and lines on pics they post to better show what detail their exactly describing. That's a pretty neat feature.
Free and easy to use, very powerful...http://www.irfanview.com/ Get all the plug-ins. This program will do anything from simple photo work to playing music, to OCR and general scanning.
The snip tool and paint in win 7 are pretty good, too
I recomend Corel, expensive but powerfull.
I use photoshop and indesign for a living. So I am biased.
I also run a Mac, so I am doubly different.
But I make money fixing pc's, and my certifications are pc based.
MCP, a+, and a few others.
