Title: Drifter sighting in Maryland
Post by: kw-retrorider on February 07, 2013, 19:14:59 PM
Saw the first Dirfter in my area since I bought mine over a year ago.
Was out taking a ride to clear my head today...yes in 35 degrees. Came up on a bike coming the other way with a indian fender light on it. As we passed and acknowledged each other, couldn't miss the skirted fenders. Looked like a sunbeam red 800....as we all know, allegedly unavailable in the U.S.
I hesitated, but then turned around and tried to run down the machine but lost visual contact and never found them.
The exchange was on Riva Road in Annapolis - I was southbound on a black 800...they were northbound just below the south river.
Any takers?
