Title: Nomad speedo cable
Post by: theogv on September 07, 2008, 21:04:48 PM
Hey I am new to this forum, I have a 1999 Drifter 1500, great bike, I love it. I do have a question, maybe you folks can help me with. According to Wolfman, alls you have to do is use the speddo cable from a Nomad to eliminate the breakage problem. Does anybody know what year Nomad to use when ordering the cable. I ordered a cable for a Nomad, it was the same length.

Any help,

Thanks

Here's info from a previous post by a drifter owner who purchased both...

The Nomad cable does not have the sharp turn at the drive. If you run the cable to the inside of the fender should work just fine as my 1500 has that now.

Nomad cable is no longer than the drifter cable just does not have the bend.
