So where is the best place to find one of these for the "odd" 1999 800 Canadian model? Seen them for 2000 and lot's for '01 - '06. I've searched the web but am having more trouble than I thought I would :-\ Will a newer one work? I have no idea what's different other than the 'black vs chrome'. I want a paper version too, not cd. Can anyone help?

Good luck.. the 00 should be the same with perhaps a few exceptions... the other years would be very close.
Mine is a 02 Canadian 800. I think the differences are the Kilometer speedo , daytime running lights ect. The specs should be the same. My paper manual came off the internet from the states and its always been accurate.
Well, I gave up and just ordered a manual and supplement from the dealer :)
