I've been driving Drifters for 13 years and Dennis Kirk just told me that I couldn't get the stock Dunlops on white wall. I see all sorts of stuff when I search for 'tires' here but haven't found where the real discussion (like in the old web site design) is happening. You guys must have determined what's best for tread life and cruising comfort by now.
Please give me some advice on this topic,
Thanks,

I just switched from Metzeler (after 33 years) to Michelin Commander II. So far, I've only had them on a week, and just got about 500 miles on them, but I'm pretty happy. Smooth, quiet, stable, neutral handling with good turn in. No white walls, however. Last time I had white walls it was Goodyear speedslips on my '78 E-Glide
Goodyears..eh...CRAP, and slippery is the word...I remember when I got my 72 FLH...slipping around an easy corner....Went and got Dunlops K181 the next day....never looked back since...KEN.
I've used a bunch of them... I have used a couple of sets for Metzlers which worked fine for me.
Thanks guys,
I knew I'd heard Metzler in the past but wasn't up on what is current. Just ordered them and they're on their way.
