Title: Extended Floorboard
Post by: plevine1 on August 18, 2010, 20:53:07 PM
I have the Küryakyn Pro-R Hypercharger Air Cleaner installed on my bike. Because the thing is so damn big it forces me to ride with my right leg sticking far out. It actually gets uncomfortable and causes some pain in my right hip.
Anyone know if the right floorboard can be out? Although this wont change the angle of my leg it might prevent me from smashing my leg against the air cleaner whenever I hit the brakes.

I'm guessing that moving the floorboard outboard further would allow it to contact the pavement at a lesser angle of lean and lead to safety problems, IMHO,

Gotta love them hyperchargers ;) Took a little while for me to get used to mine too.

Yes you can put spacers in near the frame. 1/2 inch should be better than before. Unless you're one of those that like to see how far the bike leans. With my long legs I finally got to where I don't even notice the hyper-charger. If you do extend the floorboard out do it to both sides.
