What kind of exhaust and what broke?
Not sure about that 97 exhaust... that's the right pn for the harley gaskets.
im not sure but its not comletely stock (somethine done before i got the bike) it broke on the first bend a few inches from the front jug in a long egg shape so, its not on a flat surface or if can and clamp it
atm ive got the exhaust braced tightly to other parts of the bike with big hose clamps, i put some quicksteel on it, in 24hrs im gonna use that red muffler tape and them in gonna put a feq hose clamps around the pipe there and hope and pray it holds till i can buy new exhaust
Is it hard-mounted? The original has the goat-bladder stuff under the bike that makes it a rubber mount. All the aftermarket drifter pipes used the existing rear foot peg, eliminated the goat bladder and didn't provide a rubber mount bracket... so aftermarket/replacement pipes ended up being hard-mounted. Besides the increase in vibration, it also stresses the pipes and many failed as a result.
Good luck with this.
