Title: Heel Toe Shift
Post by: plevine1 on July 26, 2010, 19:52:44 PM
Anyone know if the heel toe shift can be adjusted on a 99 Drifter. My toe shift seems to high and the heel is to low and to top it off I think someone has been sleeping in my bed, oups, wrong bed time story.

Yes they are on a splined shaft and can be adjusted. It's obvious how when you look at it

That's what thought but..... there is one screw facing up. It looks like if I removed that screw I would be able to adjust the height of the heel shift. No such luck. I don't see any other screws.

My toe shifter came lose while riding once and the heel got me home.  Just adjust them to where you like them.  Way better than other makes.  Barely have to lift your heel.

There is a "pinch-bolt" for each lever, one goes in from the top,the other goes in from the bottom. They can be set anywhere on the spline ya like. They will come off without removing the board......Ron
