Title: lowering a 1500
Post by: klake1 on July 15, 2010, 20:14:24 PM
How easy is it to lower the front and back of a 1500?  I am 5'6" and the seat is just about 2" higher than I would like it.  to lower it, is just getting shorter shocks and fork disk?

If anyone knows how and the approximate cost please let me know.

The 1500 is pretty low now. If you ride the bike much you will want to keep ground clearance in mind.

I'd start with the seat... get a lower profile seat.  Then look at/for lower profile tires. You can add shorter shocks in the rear and adjust the front forks lower (shorter spacers).
