The EPA hoses rubbing on my heads , have made a mess of them.

I've "J.B.Weld" ed the depressions rubbed into the heads.

I had a high temperature Aluminium coloured paint lined up, but now discover it is gloss. :-\

Anyone know what temperature the heads get to , and/or what types of paint I can use on them ?

VHT makes a high temp paint that withstands up to 1500 deg. It works on engine cases, exhaust pipes, expansion chambers, etc. Comes in all kinds of colors.
