I know you can buy chrome side covers for the 1500 Classic and they look to be the same cover as on the 1500 Drifter.
I have checked into it, I was told that the classic Side cover is smaller ? I want to believe that scoot works would know ?
No chrome for the 1500. Classic won't fit.

I have one of each in the garage and Chief is right. They look the same but the Classic is smaller. Sorry for the false hope.
Yes, I've seen some custom chromed with this or a similar process. I made leather covers for mine at one point, then went with some custom studs etc on the regular covers.
