Title: fender tips
Post by: cochise on June 12, 2010, 00:35:27 AM
Want to put a fender tip on the front of my 01 800, just don't want to spend $$$$. I've seen sites like JP Cycles has chrome in abs and metal in the $ 26.00 to $ 50.00 range, listed for HD , Yamaha Honda but nothing for us. Anybody tried to fit one of these?  Is the 800 front fender same as the 1500?

Look in the accessories area... but these things are hard to find - there are some styles out there that will work.

No, all of them will require some bending or grinding to make them work. And, none are cheap.

Thanks, my adventure starts. I've made lots of great items on my bikes and cars  out of oddball stuff and people stand back and say wow. But it would be great once to be the one looking instead of the one creating it.

A lot of folks have used the tips from national cycle and from starklite Indian with some work.
