OK, let me pick the brains of the ones who have been ther. if one wer so inclined ta make a drifter out of a clasic, wat am i looken at, besides desperation. the clasics all ther, the drifters mechanicly shot out. iguess wat iam asken is, will the tins bolt up. ect,,,,

Depends on year model of the classic. Rear fender won't. Since the inspiration for the drifter was built on a 1500 classic, it CAN be done. Its just not going to be a simple bolt-up conversion.

WOW, iam really seem to be haveing a difficult time locating a compleat bike, iam not gona mismatch one tho. ill keep looken . any body know production numbers on these beauties, 6yrs ther ota b one out ther fer me. THANKS CHIEF for the info, iam shur ill referance it again.

Kawasaki will not provide production numbers. We've had some very high powered folks in the industry try to pry that info out of them without success. There are bikes out there. You just have to remain alert. I have you on the research list, so if I run across one I will let you know.
