Post by: 49Reo on November 10, 2011, 10:34:39 AM
Well folks, tomorrow is Veteran's Day (Remberance Day in Canada); lets each and every one of us give thanks and prayers for those who have served and still serve, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice; THANK YOU ONE AND ALL:

                                                 YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

Regards and such,

Thanks for the post!

To all of the rest of us out there... November 11th is the US Veteran's Day... please remember this is NOT Memorial Day... on Veteran's Day we thank all those who serve and have served, not just those who have passed.  Its a happy day IMHO

I remember a bunch of events on the Army post (my father retired from the Army) on Vet's day... got to use a flame thrower... they had it rigged with water!  Sat in a jet fighter, picnics, a lot of fun. Also marched in a few parades, band and Navy!

So, have a ball and thank a vet for the opportunity to live free!

Thanks Brothers and Sisters.

In Canada they have started with Vet licence plates for bikes( you have to be a vet) so Lucky for me I was able to secure one of the first in our city( told to me by MTO ) as they had a hard time figuring out the procedure. Anyway it looks great and was out Nov 11 despite the 0 degree temps

Only 98 days till spring  ye-ha ;D

Nice you could get out on 11 November; my driveway, all 100 yards of it, is literally a sheet of ice. First snow, I plowed it, then it warmed up and rained, then got cold again. Just about need skates to get around.
