Title: REAR MONO SHOCK ADJUSTMENT
Post by: CARPE DIEM DRIFTER on October 24, 2011, 14:07:59 PM
Hello fellow Drifters,
I am looking for information about the graduation settings on my rear suspension mono shock. The owners manual states that setting 4 is the standard setting and is correct for a 150 LB. rider with no additional weight added. Does anyone know, or has it been established, what the poundage  change is per setting ?  I know that I can do some trial and error adjusting and testing, but will appreciate any knowledge that can be offered on this matter.
                                                                         Thanks in advance, CDD

Here's some info...

There are 7 settings... I'm surprised "4" would be for 150 psi with no loading...   I don't think I have ever seen any poundage graduation info. "1" is soft, "7" hard.

With only 3 graduations left it must be around 100 pounds each -  from 150 to the max loading. I expect trial and error is the way to go with this.
