Title: Locking the front fork
Post by: rupp on February 08, 2009, 20:41:07 PM
I just purchased a 2000 800, and cannot seam to get the front fork locking system to work... any suggestions so I can lock my bike?
The key only turns 1/ way,,and no matter how much I move the front end,, nothing happens. Thanks

Hello, you must move the fork something, until you feel this the lock goes in. Maybe with some Oil help. Move the fork to the left.

I know on my 1500 I have to move the fork around a bit to find the right lock position. Same with unlocking!

I have to give the fork a wiggle, but it'll go then.
