I picked up my 2000 800 last night.
There should be a law against guys riding a bike into the ground!
The chain is super tight, the sprokets look like saw teeth, rear brakes metal to matal, the list goes on.
Just my kinda project! ;)
I have a bid on Ebay for a seat that will fit the drifter, but incase I don't get it, there is another solo from a Vulcan A or B.
Will that seat bolt on or???????
My understanding is that a 1500 seat won't bolt up.
(the bike came with that funny looking 2 up seat, It's not helping the bike looks at all)

So many bikes to rescue, so few $$!
No... other models can be made to fit... with varying degrees of work required, but none are bolt on. You really have to have the correct underlying hardware for the 800. Look over in the mods/tips and accessories area of the web site for more info.
