Title: Front end vibration...help!!
Post by: aaf8 on August 05, 2011, 20:17:41 PM
I took my 2001 Drifter 1500 in to the shop for a strong front end wobble / vibration at 40-50mph. They balanced the tires, checked forks and fork seals, checked the rear wheel alignment and checked the rim...no problems found. Any thoughts?

I assume they check the bearings... the question is... do you still have the STRONG wobble?

Motorcycle wobble has been a reported problem on all models/brands. And, correcting it can be difficult. Check the tires for cupping. Do you get the wobble holding onto the bars or only when released? Do you get it on all roads, or only particular types of roads?
