Title: compression test on 1500 drifter
Post by: ski.dive on March 15, 2010, 21:26:35 PM
Hi:

Hi:
Can anyone tell me what the compression should be for a '99 1500 Drifter?

I'd like to do a compression check tomorrow.

What is good compression psi for the

Front Cylinders: min. & max compression

Rear Cylinders:  min. & max compression

I have that info at home but I'm out of town till Thursday. I don't have access until then. Hopefully someone else can help in the meantime

Looks like 50~85 psi, but haven't verified.

Do you know if the compression you posted has been verified?

Yeah, 340 ~ 590 kPa (3.4 ~ 6 kgf/cm2, 50 ~ 85 psi) from the service manual.
