1999 drifter 1500 gas gauge not working?
what things do i need to check?
PREVIOUS OWNER SAID HE HAD THE 'FUEL PUMP' changed the last time he rode it.
***will changing the fuel pump affect the fuel gauge?

This may or may not help...when I took my Drifter apart for paint and put it back together the gas gauge stopped working. I initially put about 1/2 tank of gas in but the needle didn't move from E. The next time I filled up the tank completely the gauge started working again. Just a thought...not sure if yours stopped working out of the blue or if you had some things taken apart first.
