Looks like I'm going to have to spend some money...Thanks for the link. When we were in D.C., we ate at a Joe's Crab Shack, that was way too much to pay for what I got...but it was good. The only crabs around here are the ones you use qwell on.

Too much information..

John.

(FYI  - I built and maintain his website, we get a commission on sales.)
Troll there you go.Order up some of them Maine clams and put on Chief's tab  ;)Maine clams are the ones I get.I buy them from Price chopper $30 a bushell. The seafood dept. knows me very well there.I eat steamed or raw,so while I'm steaming a pot of them (with beer)I'm shucking myself some raw ones.Nothing like it.

Shipping seafood (live) is expensive... which is why I only get a load a couple of times a year. When I lived in Louisiana there were a million places to get seafood right off the boat... even the local Kroger had it. Here in the middle of the country... its a bit more difficult and expensive.

We have a friend with a seafood shop in Maine... we get live lobsters, etc from him periodically. They ship all over the usa...

Ahhh, clams... Raw, right out of the ocean... all we have here is Mississippi mud clams, and WAY overpriced ones from Red Lobster....What they call clams weren't even legal keepers when I was claming! Anybody have some littlenecks??

Nothing wrong with a high teck redneck cooler, that's for sure.I put some snow in a metal garbage can and add 2 bushells of clams the day before being ready to eat and man are they great that way.The clams are always nice and clean,no sand in them. They seem to clean themselves.

I am glad you are enjoying the warming, I sent you some in exchange for the cooler temps you sent us, and so you would not get cabin fever.

But please, PLEASE, don't breakout the Angel Wings and snow shovel!
