I found a Nomad tank Do not know the year and everything is the same as my 99 1500 Drifter.
Insialled new tank and all went well. I would like to thank all for your help in this project.
Pulled the old tank apart last night and the gasket is pretty pliable so I am going to go with Old Drifter and use some rtv. Thanks for everyone'
s input.
CMS in the Netherlands have a replacement (110610292 appears as the equivalent of Kaw 11009-1656) About $15 plus postage. www.cmsnl.com
It matches your photo and my memory of the part.

Quote from: Pilgrim on July 26, 2017, 16:52:55 PMIt's pretty thick rubber with metal spacers to prevent over crushing . I would reuse the old one instead of a thinner material.buy gasket material and cut your own. Get the gasoline gasket material.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted the link. I'll be it's been superseded. I can't imagine them dropping such a large segment of the existing installed base

Quote from: tnttoolman on July 26, 2017, 06:55:28 AMI you can't find a new one, I'd put a thin coat of RTV on your old one to help ensure a good seal. Keep an eye on it.Bought the one on Ebay, now just have to put it on. Hope the sending unit gasket survives as it looks to be no longer available.
