:o like a 1.4" difference :

in a burger pattie
a pile of fries
an omelette

it can mean a lot in some cases............

now learn to lean....lol........

I think I need to eat more burger patties.... and piles of fries... and big fat 1.4 inch thick omelettes first! If I was 1.4 times my weight the 800 would sit a lot lower and I would scrap it much easier. I lost weight this summer working 90-100 hour, 7 days a week, weeks. That may be part of the non scraping dilemma I am in. If I was 235 (1.4 my weight) instead of 168 I think I could scrape her without too much difficulty.

Did anyone count their spokes yet? How many did you get? 47? 48? 49? 30? 60?

:)

Ok Zoar, just did some checking for your edification.

The 1500 seems to scrap the ground easier then the 800, and you want to scrap your floor boars more so you can have that cool factor, I did some checking and there might be a very easy and logic reason for this.

The 1500's ground clearance is listed as 125 mm or 4.9" ok got that........

and the 800.......

Clearance is listed as 160 mm or 6.3 "

this is a difference of 35 mm or 1.4"

so start to lean more buddy.........

46*F outside and so a really cool day for a ride but did get out and ride for a bit, went out around the small lake and seen all the leaves turning red and yellow, the smell of fall is in the air.......

Exactly. 1.4 inches is a lot in clearance.

When i bought my drifter 800 I found that the floor boards scraped very easy, but I did have a Honda nc700x and had the side stand scraping the floor once, but I had fitted one of the bigfoot things on the stand, now I think ahead a bit more.
