That paint is beautiful, the seat is very nice also...is it a stock seat recovered or from Corbin?

At least locally, if they didn't lie to you...you know the old saying, check local laws before ordering. The next state over might not be so accommodating.
Quote from: Troll on November 01, 2015, 07:51:59 AMI hate to say this, because I like the way it looks, too...BUT local law enforcement might not be too thrilled with all the illegal colored lights...and that usually leads to tickets, fines, and just general ill will. Maybe I'm more attuned to the legal aspects since I was a Rider Ed. instructor for 32 years, and I do a lot of interstate traveling. The last thing you need is to be stopped 1000 miles from home for something that is not DOT legal for street use.

And I also really like the design of those spotlights: very smooth!
Where did you get them?
eBay. Its awesome.led with color led trim around it. I have since changed my headlight to led as well to match the color of the spots

That is one sweet paint job!
With the tan seat, I'd be tempted to go with some tasteful gold pinstripes and not much else. Let that pearl white dominate, because it looks so delicious!
Quote from: CDNRatMan on October 28, 2015, 09:03:05 AMWOW that is some different colour bike, and it is very nice. Really nice curb appeal.
thanks the pic doesn't do it justice as it has some nice color pearl in it

Thanks for all the responses guys. After getting the bike back I think I'm going to go with silver leaf and engine turn. Now I just need to figure out the design/ form.
I did that with black around my fenders, gas tank, and it does come out looking really nice if you take your time and put it on right, I found a small rubber mallet to tap it nice and tight to the edge and it holds really well.
This is not gold but it works well for fender details. http://www.autobarn.net/custom-chrome-trim-exterior-molding.html
Well, for a few extra bucks, wet sand the clear coat to get it ready for another coat, then do the gold leaf, then shoot a couple more coats of clear. then it's protected....
Guys paint job is finally done on my 800 and yes I'll post pics as soon as I get everything back from paint. Question is... I need some help figuring out what I want to do in way of either pinstripe, design, etc for the fenders and gas tank.. I was thinking using the sticker that was on the front fender as a guide doing that in gold leaf and that's it... Most of you will say you should have done this before clear coating the paint but I'm here now and need suggestions. Nothing too complicated please but give me an idea. Thanks guys
