Just got this in from Franks Leathers (front/rear mud guards and rear fender bib). The quality of his workmanship is outstanding and the leather, thick ... very, very satisfied. Can't wait to see these on the bike!
And on a side note, I corresponded with Frank off and on which was a very pleasurable experience. The guy really goes out of his way for you.
I can't wait to see your bike after you put on your bling bambam.
bam...here is were I got that info....

Ok we are not on the same page, I have the visor and the metal snap ring and it was and is a pain to put in, perhaps you are calling it an insert, on the light lens.

ok so were did you get the ring?
This ebay picture isn't for a drifter but it shows the "ring" I was talking about. It was a pain to snap into the correct position.

Yeah, they fit but disassemble everything in the headlight. There is no way to make it fit otherwise, I know I tried.
I had to use 2 screwdrivers to get the ring to snap into the correct position but it's always more difficult your 1st time.
Take your time, disassemble everything and you'll get it.
Nice bling, and yes GB does have a tendency to over pack things......I know.....
bam I was told that the visor and that a trim ring would nit fit on the same headlight so now I have a mission to try next winter, and I think in gloss black the ring would really look good on my bike...thanks......
and running lights that I got off ebay
Not sure why posting is putting my pictures upside down (
)
and with my new Viking saddle bags. I can tell the velcro won't hold but it gave me a good preview as to what they would look like which I like so I'm going to order the heavy duty velcro I used on the seat.
