- November 20, 2014, 20:56:33 PMSome years ago our government convinced us we would be a lot warmer if we switched from Fahrenheit to Centigrade we would be warmer and our heating would cost less and as polititians never tell lies we all believed them..They also told us that the increase in heating and fuel costs was because Britain is such a big island and 200 years ago we had smokey fires that caused global warming and we are being punished with cold weather for making the rest of the world too warm..
Oh and we are going to have to tighten our belts because we are poor, but not to worry because it is the right thing to do and we are all in this together.

now we had cold since Nov 30 and snow since then and we are over the annual snowfall in the past 5 years. Before PC insists I move south, I am not complaining, this is just another winter and it will end as it has for the past 60 years. We will get an early start on the ice for fishing, people already have their sleds out riding.........7*F is still shorts and T shirts here.......
