- October 01, 2010, 21:55:38 PMI've heard the Cobra 2-1's and they were a lot quieter than I expected. I have V&H Straight Shots on my 1500 Drifter and Long Shots on the 1500 Classic. The Longs are mellower than the Straights. (I actually prefer the Straights).

Just bought a 1500 Drifter and it has Long Shots on. they are a little more mellow and throaty than the ones on the classic. I like them a lot better. When they open up at high throttle they really sound mean. V&H Long Shots highly reccommended.

what i am looking for is a set that is loud and will have a nuce rumble to them, but not exactly wide open drag pipes. also something that i wont need to buy a power commander for.
please any imput would be greatly appreciated.
also so far i am looking at the vance and hines longshots anyone else have them?
