When I told her we would be leaving at 3am, she balked at that quite a bit, and is pushing to leave later. My thing is I don't want to roll in to MV later than 5 or 6pm. I need time to stop for rest breaks, fuel, food, and maybe a quick nap.

- August 05, 2014, 15:50:40 PMWell, I kinda screwed myself out of riding the Drifter until the 11th when I leave for Maggie Valley...All the prep and maintenance is done, so I ran a couple of errands around town, and low and behold, as I turned into my alley, the odometer turned 87,500!!! Some kind of an omen or sign...don't know if it's bad or good, so I'll have to ride the W for the rest of the week...such a sad state of affairs!
