Hi PC:

Ya, with really rough calculations, it's seem my low fuel light is starting to flicker with the tank just under half full!  Note though I spend a lot of time riding in mountain areas so a lot of UP and down riding which I guess would make the light 'flicker' earlier than if riding on level ground.

I've noticed that my warning light comes on long before the tank is anywhere near empty too.  I have a 5 gallon tank and the most I've ever put in it is 3 1/2 gallons.

I was out for a slow cruise on Saturday.  Coming back, my low fuel light came on solid (after going on and off for about 50kms (30 miles) but I had to go about another 50kms before hitting a fuel station.  I was worried that I was running on fumes at that point but it took only 15+ litres to fill up (half way up the filler neck).  I believe the tank capacity is 19 litres which would imply I had another approximately 4 litres to go  Does that make sense - that the reserve light would start flickering with 100 Km + 4 more litres before empty?

PS: not sure why I've owned this bike for so many years and am just noticing this now.
