- February 11, 2014, 12:51:38 PMThe theme of this day, Saturday May 3, 2014, is JUST RIDE. It is a day devoted to female riders and rides around the world. This is the 8th year. Here in Nova Scotia it will be the second year of participation. Last year ladies from the 3 maritime provinces, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island met and rode a circuit to PEI. Lots of activities...most sponsored by bike dealerships...such as BBQ suppers, great sales, prizes, etc. This year we plan to make it truly international by riding into Maine where a Vetrans Group has graciously offer to host us! Google International Female Ride Day and see if there is a ride in your area. I'll keep looking for a specific link.
