- April 06, 2014, 17:46:21 PMI had my tank painted since it had some small dents around the gas cap. The badges had already been removed by the original owner and I could not find the the oem stripes. Didn't look bad just a little too plain for my tastes. I thought about getting the war bonnet decals with the drifter script in them and then ran across the ones you see in the photo on ebay and thought I would give them a try. Not sure how well they will hold up but certainly a little different and still an off shoot from some of the vintage Indian logos.

That could get to be a real furball. Right now they're being nice with just a Cease&Desist Letter from the Lawyers which will stop 90%, I'm sure. Can't blame them at all. They paid for the rights to the name and the look........it's theirs by law.
