Finally going back together.....
That's not a bad idea, John. I have seen a couple flag-themed bikes and they don't look too bad.
Quote from: greenbarn on December 22, 2013, 20:28:39 PMHere's an idea off the wall..I would like my new 1500 to come out of the shop in the spring with a new 2-tone paint job. Trouble is, I can't narrow the choices down to just TWO COLORS!
You are an American, and I imagine very proud of that fact..
The Drifter is a copy of an Indian which is about as american as a motorcycle can get, I guess you want the bike to be admired and stand out in a crowd or you would not be paying big bucks for a paint job..
Why not paint it with Old Glory..
John.

Greenbarn, here is a new Indian with a custom paint job.

Are you ready for mine yet?
Very nice....when can I send mine to you for painting?
be a good looking ride for sure.......
looks very nice, jmbo. can't wait to see her together.
Finally sprayed the final coat of clear. Had to bring the parts in from the cold garage to dry. A little color sanding and polish and she goes back together.

I just set that pic as my new desktop background on my laptop...
Thanks so much from Everyone for your input. I've been quiet on this, not b/c I've been ignoring, but b/c I've been looking and thinking... so much that now I have a headache!
Problem is, I don't think there was anything listed that I DIDN'T LIKE, some I like more, of course, and some I like less. There are a lot of good points to consider, and lots of ideas. It's a good thing I have a bit of time yet to make up my mind.
Feel free to keep the ideas coming! Nothing is set in stone until the paint gun is filled...
