Sounds like bologna to me hahahaha . Nope Greenbarn it was definitely Bake I'm thinking of . It's actually on page 2 of introductions . First page of my intro . My computer literate ass can't get the picture to transfer here
if someone would be so kind to do so for me
I'm also a fan of covered bridges , but unfortunately we have none around here . Believe the closest one is about 45 minutes north of here .
While you're in Waldo, go about 10 miles North on 57 to Road America...OOOppps, wrong Waldo
That sounds like a good deal....I'm in.....
I haven't heard from Pete lately. Talked to BoaSki the other day, though. Might get together in a week or so for a Drifter Rider's not-riding-cause-it's-too-cold breakfast or cup of coffee or something.
Ratman, when you come, I'd be glad to do the bridge tour for you. I put together a ride this summer, I think it's about 80 miles, with about 8 (if I remember) scenic covered bridges, and some pretty nice Ohio Scenery (for this part of the state), including River Road, along the Scenic Scioto River. If you want, we'll extend it far enough to stop by the G & R Tavern in Waldo for a World-Famous Bologna sandwich.
your going to show me them there bridges once I come to 0hi0 right, or is petemoss the tour guide.......were is that boy lately?

Quote from: Drift1 on October 25, 2013, 16:02:50 PMThat is a nice pic and bike by the way . Doesn't Bake have a similar pic with the covered bridge ? Wonder if this is the same place
Perhaps you were thinking of my pics from this summer. They were from Ohio.

This particular bridge is in Knox County IL near Galesburg. Myself and some of my fellow Vulcan riders visited several covered bridges in IL this past year. These other two pictures are near Princeton IL

Think "Photo-shop", man, that takes care of such things...
