 ;)  GreenBarn tell me more about your throttle lock, visual person I am pictures would be nice, your cramp buster is what I think I did not like it.

I've got the same thing on my 800, a cramp buster and a throttle lock.  Seems to work fine for my needs.

  I've thought about this issue for a while, now. I even went so far as to adapt an automotive cruise to my FLT....it didn't work very well. The one thing that strikes me about any kind of cruise control on a double cable throttle system is that the throttle grip will have to be free to turn, or you will have to come up with something that will actuate the throttle without moving the cables. The ride by wire systems don't have any cables, so the stepper motor that controls the throttle is what they use for the cruise...That being said, I have a cramp buster and a vista cruise installed on my Drifter....

does anyone have a cruise control on their 1500 drifter...if so...which one should be used ?
