- August 20, 2013, 15:26:12 PMNeed a tad bit longer. Got quite an unpleasant surprise with the new Singh spring seat I installed recently. The front hinge attach to this bolt and the back of the seat is on two springs. While riding at 90km/h on a back road the bolt came loose and the seat dropped back, even though it was well thighten with thread lock, I retighten everything, and been riding carefully ever since and again yesterday it came loose at 40km/h. There seem to be a mojor design flaw with the hardware. The leather is good but all the hardware is pretty much indian crap work. So I want a longer bolt to be able to put a lock nut from underneath. Good thing nothing happen to anyone who bought this seat in the states or he would easily be sued for a few millions!!
