Hopefully the 'authorities' will get to the bottom of it; was he on the phone, texting, eating lunch, whatever; somebody, hopefully, will come forward and say " I saw the driver of that truck doing blah-blah-blah." There is absolutely no excuse for doing what he did, short of having a sudden heart attack at the wheel, which he obviously did not, as the news clip shows him being given a field sobriety test.
Lets hope there will be some accountability on this.

At least he still has a life to be ruined. This is a straight, wide-open highway with nearly unlimited visibility. What, he didn't SEE 8 stopped motorcycles!

 :'( Not sure if this is the right spot for this post but I thought you guys might like to know about this. One guy was riding a Drifter. I feel sorry for the riders and their families. Even the garbage truck driver has ruined his life because of a stupid mistake. Here's the link:
