yup that has not been popular as was "Talk to the Hand".......
so now you can start your own Drifter parts import business.....lol....
Lol...my daughter used to say that a lot... "bite me, dad" when she was about 15-16. So one day she said that while within my reach, so I grabbed her and bit her arm
. It was a long time before she said that again....at least while within reach!

oh the dreaded "Bite me" Line has come out....... ok hoser......lol......
See I figured that hairy yeti buddy of ours would help out he is a really nice guy.......our Hero
While reading down this post I was going to suggest that. I usually go to Montana in late April early May. If NTL is not in a hurry I would be glad to help out. White Rock is quite a ways out of my way, but I'm sure something can be worked out. If someone from NTL's end could meet me around Cranbrook on my way home we could meet up there and transfer the parts. I would have to contact NTL in advance of when I leave, say "I will be back in Cranbrook such-and-such day." Then we could hook up. Let me know, email me for Montana shipping address if this works. Anything to help out a hurtin' brother.

Pretty slick there RATMAN......it's kinda what Drifitingirl does.I don't know how anyone could afford these crazy shipping fee's.For this cost I'd hate to say it,but NTL would be better off keeping the pipes he has on his drifter now. This poor fella can't afford to pay that fee, especially all he has gone through.
Ok Canadian Military does not have its own postal system anymore, but I had an idea but going to BC is not going to work from my end. Now pwehaps we get our Montana boy involved at this time. He also resides in BC......duh the lights are flashing already. Ship pipes to Montana, BC yeti picks them up on his next trpip to Montana, takes them over the 49th line, and ships them from there to White Rock, or better yet he delivers them in person via his Drifter.....lol Love nominate people for work......
Yep. Shipping costs across border are outrageous, That's my maine reason for buying things while I'm south of it. I have been known to have things shipped to a friend in Maine, have another friend pick it up, cross border, then sip to me from inside Canada...saves a bundle.
It maybe the only way to get it there this side of insanity!
I wonder if it would affect the cost if it went to a Canadian military base first?
PC that's always an option as well.I just figured ship it whole so this fella could just bolt the exhaust on and he's good to go.However doing a little bit of work on his drifter actually may be good thereapy
Ratman It's going to White Rock,BC.....V4B 2M7
That price is just crazy.my man.
Shipping to Canada is insane. I was trying to ship a HD tour pack (with all the goodies) up there and it was going to cost something like $80 at the USPS. From what I understand, they're the cheapest, but they have a size / weight limit. You might be able to take the exhaust apart and ship it in separate packages to get it there, but it's anyone's guess as to the cost of shipping.
ok were in Canada is is bound for.
I had to deal with custom and such for years and it is not fun.....So let me know were it is bound. We might be able to pull some thing off here.
Ok here's my story.......NTL is looking for a stock exhaust for his drifter as some might have already known. He has a post in the trade section of the forum.Being I have no need for a stock seat we agree on a price and shipping fee's etc.Now being I'm a soft hearted person and learned NTL is recovering from a brain tumor,so funds aren't his best friend at the moment......I'm getting off track.....back to the shipping.I just got off the phone after being transferred numerous times with FedEx.Now you might want to sit down if your not already...these bozo's quoted me $245.89 to ship the exhaust to Canada standard shipping(cheapest method). This is insane....oh and for haha's....I ask how much will it cost to be packaged up for shipment.....apparently they don't do this.I tell the customer service,"I just watched a video on there web site of how you drop goods off and they professionally package it" for a fee of course. Now the add clearly says starting at 4.99 and up.Anyway I know we have members in sales, tradesCANADA etc. is there any suggestions, advice for cheaper ways to send this or is it is what it is?.I can't see this fella paying this crazy rate...thanks for the help
