well I have my Serengeti Driver sunglasses for the sunny times and then a nice pair of clear safety glasses for the drak and night riding. An not that expensive to have them.
Quote from: DC on November 19, 2012, 06:47:04 AMWhat if you were riding at night on a dark road, then all of a sudden a car comes up over the hill with brights on? The lenses would darken, but then when the car passes, you are trying to look through dark lenses, until they change back to clear. I guess it depends on how quickly they react.
A few years back I owned a pair of prescription transition lenses. The change in color was not so drastic that I would have had to worry about passing cars. However, a lot has changed since then (technologically speaking). I am curious if anyone has any experience with them.

I was looking for riding use. The Eclispe xt are pricey but claim to work really well as far as darkest availble and clear at night.
I do know that we are not allowed to wear then to work or while driving company vehicles. I have people that have them and like them others do not like them, depends on how fast they can change seems to be the issue.
I am looking at safety glasses and thought the transition lenses would be a good idea. Does anyone have experience with photochromic lenses? Ive read a few reviews and would like to find something that gets pretty dark. Any advice?
