She's happily decorating her new house. The Honey do list is several years long.
Hey, are the 1500 breather covers the same size as the 800 and does it stick out far?
My guess is not. So they are chrome then and powder coated.
Well I tried to just paint over the lines but then when I tried to wipe the paint off the surface it did not come off so had to use thinner and then it got into the lines. was a real mess. So I used a really thin brush and a toothpick and just let the pain run into the groove. Up close not so nice but from the distance a normal person will see it fine, For a person with your OCD it has to be better.......
How is Aunt Tracy doing?
Did you touch up the lines with red paint? Really cool.
That is mine, I bought. But I am sure we can find 2 for my favorite Aunt Tracy's spouse.......I am sure there is one in the original package in the Kawasaki dealer here........let me check......
Where did you get that breather cover? Can you find 2 more?
What bike was it from?
I really like it, looks good! Makes the engine stand out better.
Thank you gentleman.......
That looks really cool Ratman!
Now that really looks great, nice touch!
So while waiting for Pearl's parts to be powder coated and covered I was playing with Red. I picked up one of those Fire & Steel air cleaner covers, and it had been powder coated black so not big deal, mounted it on the bike.....but alas not liking the chrome bolt, wanted to change it......well I did but then the bolt is too short.....long story short that bolt is a bolt with a big ass head on it that is a royal pain to get out.......
But bit of red paint...lol the same shade as Red......and as my learned fellow forum member 49 Reo suggested to wait a week or so then to rough sand it and add a coat of clear on top of it......
