- February 09, 2018, 15:59:32 PM So while waiting for Pearl's parts to be powder coated and covered I was playing with Red. I picked up one of those Fire & Steel air cleaner covers, and it had been powder coated black so not big deal, mounted it on the bike.....but alas not liking the chrome bolt, wanted to change it......well I did but then the bolt is too short.....long story short that bolt is a bolt with a big ass head on it that is a royal pain to get out.......
But bit of red paint...lol the same shade as Red......and as my learned fellow forum member 49 Reo suggested to wait a week or so then to rough sand it and add a coat of clear on top of it......
