I now have a 2001 Classic. Over the years, I have collected old HD dress up parts... I owned a '55 Fl back in High School. So, since I still have the goods, I decided to dress out the VN800 with old style goodies. It's funny, Kawasaki must have copied the pre-58 HD frame almost note-for-note... These old parts ust about "fall on" to the bike! Since buying her, I've installed an NOS Beaded windshield, a set of NOS Flanders "Dresser" handlebars, a 1940's vintage Buddy Seat, some white "Coke Bottle" hand grips, a pair of vintage HD mirrors, etc... Coming attractions will be the old style HD FLH skirted fenders, front and rear, and a pair of white Royalite "bubble" saddlebags. I'd like also to put an American Dreams exhaust on the bike, but modify it for left side/right side mufflers and extensions. I'm just about ready to do the tires, and when they go on, the front wheel is getting a pair of Moon Ripple Disc wheel covers and an NOS Kawasaki Fire and Steel rotor cover/caliper cover set. Well, I'd have LOVED to have another Drifter, but I'm picky and hadn't found the "right" one when this one came around.... Besides, I can use all of this stuff that's laying around! CHEERS!
