Title: 2016 Drift-In Dates
Post by: chief on November 23, 2015, 13:32:29 PM
This year the Drift-In is being held in Eureka Springs, Ark - Sept 28th - Oct 1st.

Drift In ’16 http://www.drift-in.org/ will be held Wed. Sept. 28 to Sat. Oct. 1. The dog Pound will be at the Country Mountain Inn where we pounded in 2012. Room rates are listed on the Dog Pound page on the Drift In site. All rooms have refrigerators and a large selection form the included continental breakfast(subject to minor changes as it is some time away) will be posted on the site. We have the whole east side of the motel set aside for our group.

We will be avoiding the BBBBQ in Fayetteville(the week before) and the Corvette gathering(the week after) so rooms and dining options will be very accessible.
There are 22 rooms in this area set aside and another 20 available at the motel if needed. We likely will be joined by some of Hillbilly’s friends during the week but most will be leaving on Friday or Saturday morning as they will likely want to be at home for Sunday services. Since Hillbilly and Deb pretty much scheduled their time away from Texarkana on an annual basis their friends and fellow church members(Hillbilly was the Associate Pastor of 1st Bikers Church) wish to experience what and why they made a point of being at the Drift In every year since their first attendance in 2005 in Bardstown, KY.

We will be joined as well by Les and Paul Hands from the U.K as well as MAK and Mona(Hogan) from Australia. Each couple have attended several previous Drift Ins each.

Daily rides will begin on Tuesday as several folks tend to show up a few days early. Ride maps will be posted on the Drift In site shortly. Printed maps will also be available form those who would rather ride individually or in small groups. Plans are being made to schedule evening events from dining to entertainment and may possibly include a bike rodeo as well(would like feedback if you would please).
Looking forward to seeing many of you there.
Ride safely!
