oil Change

I have used the Mobil 1 V Twin 20-50 oil since I purchased my drifter. I like it, really seems to quiet the motor. It is not supposed to be the same as the Auto version. Watch out for Friction Modifiers, that is what messes up the wet clutches it our bikes.

Filter is at the rear of the motor, just ahead of the rear wheel swing arm. If your "converter" has been removed it is very easily reached from underneath.

I use the Bosch 3300 filter on mine. It has metal interior valves and 'advanced filter media', also Made in USA; if you care about such things.

On the oil change, be sure to clean the screen, located behind the larger plug on the oil pan.
