the hardest necessary item to find is the support rail.  I bought one a few years ago that was NOS (new old stock) so I could use the 2-up fire and steel seat I picked up cheap.  Only, it didn't have the cross support piece...so I fabricated one.  They very rarely come up on Ebay...I haven't seen one for a long time....

Your best bet is to keep asking on this forum or on the Drifter Riders Facebook page...maybe someone will decide to sell off one to you.  I keep mine as a selling point for when I have to sell my Drifter (I have knee and hip issues now and don't ride nearly as much as I use to).  A lot of Drifter fans don't really know that the 2-up seat requires the extra subframe...so they buy one with a solo seat thinking they can just find and pop a 2-up seat on it at any time.

There seems to be a few grab rails on Ebay at any given time, but prices vary.  I don't use one with mine, because I designed a rear passenger backrest/rack setup and don't really need one....plus it's so damn ugly.

Anyway, that's my nickel's worth..

You'll also need the support bar and grab rail.
I may have a couple at the back of the garage, I'll look later.
(I'll also buy your single seat to soften the blow!)
You may have to remove the rear rack as it could hit the seat fittings when it rises.

I saw one on eBay UK the other day, I'll see if I can find it again.

Drifter seats don't work that way. You either have a solo or a double. Passenger pillions won't work with the floating rear Drifter fender. Lots of info on this site regarding seats.

Hey guys just got a drifter 1500. My first bike since 2010 which was a Cbr. I was looking for a rear seat for this bike so I could take my wife with me on cruises. I only found one page that had rear seats and they were $800-$1000. Does anybody came across any other seats that are a little more reasonably price TIA
