Air ride Strutmaster

When you change the ride height of one end, you need to change the height of the other end to preserve the correct rake and trail. If you don't adjust the front, you will destroy the handling qualities built in. I don't know how aggressive you are, but I drag stuff in corners on my 1500 and it's stock height.

If you lower it that much (2"), I'm guessing you're going to have problems with the fender hitting the seat (certainly hitting the seat skirt).  Dragging stuff in turns may also become an issue.

I'm the same height .

Looking at the promo video, it is just another complication when coming to a stop/getting away from the lights in front of the "Tins" -IMHO .

I have one of the original tan Corbin (solo) seats (Kawasaki made replicas in black) . These lowered effective seat height to the extent, I fitted the (Forum recommended) Phat Boy II risers .

How is it with a pillion ?

I assume you have optimised your preload height ?

Has anyone attempted to add an air ride suspension like the Strutmaster or is this not an even possible? I am 5'6" and the ride height of my 1500 is about 2-3" taller than what I want it to be at the stop light or even maneuvering into spots non engines assisted. Thank you
