My '99 1500 popped the fuel filter end of the high pressure clip fuel line .

Part does not seem available ; I can get the 24.5/7.89/7.95 clip/s ; but the rubber joiner hose and internal nylex may be more difficult . Does anyone have experience of fitting these hoses - at possibly 300lb pressure , I want to be sure I do it right .

Only alternative is a 2nd hand VN1500 post 1999 .

Will white vinegar , bolt rattle and bi-carb soda with final 2 stroke fuel wash to de-rust tank .

Will also check/de-rust tank-internal fuel pump .

Will reverse flow tank-external fuel filter .

I have searched and checked Maintenance section posts .

Any tips appreciated .

Many Thanks
