I guess it's not very late, because as far as I remember the seller told me that the starter kit is the same for both 1500's and 800's, except for the base plate.
So, you might ask him to open a new ad for the 1500...

I'm so bummed I came late to the party and missed out on getting one of these

Long story short: I asked some infos to the seller and he told me that his kit won't fit, because of the tiny room left by the custom made exhaust on ma-deuce... Too bad!
I would have really liked to put that cool kick start on.

I don't think so.
It's because it happened that, after your post, I got in touch with the seller (Malcom) asking him if he had a kick starter kit for the 800.
He answered yes and added that he would have closed the ad for the 1500's and opened a brand new one for the 800's...
And that's what happened.
BTW: I'm trying to figure out if that kit would fit to ma-deuce, since that she's got a custom made exhaust (2 in 1 with a fishtail) and that doesn't let much room where the kit is supposed to stay.

That's really a great item for ya 1500's owners, for sure!
I knew about a fake kick starter for our Drifters, but nothing really comparable to that one.
As far as I can see from the pics posted by the vendor, there should be one compatible with the 800's, too..
I've just sent a message to him, askin' for confirmation.
