OEM, there are covers on both sides and some 'plumbing' to connect the two sides.  If that plumbing (a plastic pipe between the cylinders) has been removed (folks often cut them out, rather than 'remove' them) it'll be a bit of a job to go back to stock as the throttle bodies will need to be removed (if you can find the parts - and there are quite a few parts).

Hi
I purchased my bike about two years ago ( 3rd owner ) a 1999 Drifter 1500 ( U.S. version, I'm in Canada ). It appears that the original owner replaced the stock air filter box cover with this aftermarket part which uses a K&N filter. I would like to return it to stock.

My question is does the 1999 Drifter only have one air filter cleaner cover ( in my case on the right of the bike ) or does it have two? The left side with the air filter and the right side is just the cover?

Thank you
